1. Introduction

Bibo is published by JFINETRADING LLC (“we,” “us,” or “our”). This Privacy Policy explains how the Bibo iOS application for iPhone (and this companion website at https://bibo.joinkobi.com) handles your information.

We built Bibo as a quiet, private tool for guided breathing and relaxation. Our approach to privacy is simple: we do not collect your data in the first place.

2. Summary of our privacy guarantee

Bibo collects no data; everything stays on your iPhone. In Apple’s App Store privacy nutrition label, Bibo is designated as “Data Not Collected.” Because we never collect, transmit, or store your data on any server, there is nothing for us to view, share, sell, or delete remotely.

3. Information we collect

None. Bibo does not collect any personal information, usage data, device identifiers, location data, or diagnostics.

  • There is no user account, no registration, no sign-up, and no login.
  • Bibo makes no network connections and transmits nothing to any server.
  • The developer cannot see who you are, when you use the app, or any of your in-app data.

4. On-device data

To make the app work for you from day to day, Bibo saves a small amount of information locally on your iPhone:

  • App preferences & settings (such as your preferred visual style—pulsing orb or breath curve—haptic feedback, voice guidance toggle, count-in, and daily reminder time).
  • Custom breathing patterns that you create inside the app.
  • Session history (such as days breathed and minutes practiced).

All of this data is stored strictly on your iPhone using Apple’s standard on-device storage and a local Apple App Group container shared solely between the Bibo app and Bibo’s Lock Screen / Home Screen widget on the same device.

None of this information ever leaves your device. Uninstalling the Bibo app from your iPhone permanently deletes all local data.

5. Permissions & device features

  • Notifications (Optional, Local Only): If you choose to turn on a daily breathing reminder in Bibo’s settings, the app requests permission to schedule local notifications. These notifications are scheduled entirely on your iPhone by iOS—no push notification servers or external tokens are used.
  • Microphone: The microphone is not used. Bibo never accesses, listens to, or records audio from your microphone.
  • Apple Health / HealthKit: Apple Health (HealthKit) is not used. Bibo does not read from or write to Apple Health.

6. Third parties, analytics, and advertising

None. Bibo contains:

  • No advertisements or ad networks.
  • No analytics, telemetry, or crash-reporting services.
  • No tracking or Apple Advertising Identifiers (IDFA).
  • No third-party SDKs or external code libraries that collect data.

If you choose to email us directly for support (for example, at hello@joinkobi.com), we will see the email address and message you send us solely so we can reply and help you. We do not use your email address for marketing or share it with third parties.

7. Children’s privacy

Bibo collects no personal data from anyone of any age and is suitable for all ages. Because the app does not collect, store, or transmit any personal information, it fully complies with the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA), the GDPR, and similar global privacy regulations.

8. Changes to this policy

If we ever update this Privacy Policy, we will post the revised version on this page (https://bibo.joinkobi.com/privacy.html) and update the “Effective date” at the top.
